I know, Germans bomb moon stuff, but TV opted against our game.
TV for next weekend, per the Big-12 site:
Oklahoma @ Iowa St. FSN 11:30
Texas @ Baylor 11:30 Versus
Texas Tech @ Missouri 2:30 ABC
Kansas @ Colorado 4:45 ESPN

Crazy that an A&M and Nebraska game is not good enough for TV. Even though the game is not that intriguing, I'm really suprised that we got passed over. I would think that Nebraska home games would draw pretty good ratings, definitely better than Baylor and Kansas games.

I'm surprised it didn't get picked up. I figured the production team had so much material to work with just talking about the coaches alone. Says alot when two team with the history of A&M and Nebraska aren't picked up.

There is a lot of material, but it's all negative. I think they did a good thing skipping us @ Nebraska. tells the ADs at both schools you're not as relevant as you think you are...better make changes.

No it just says this is your punishment exp both teams losing badly. nothing to do with relevance.

Besides possibly the edit: Texas game it's the least interesting game on that bill.
It's Nebraska and they still sell their stadium every game so there is the possibility of PPV although prob slim.

Don't forget OU @ Iowa State...amazing game. :bored:
I don't care...I'm making the road trip to Nebraska, so it'll be good to see. I'll report back my thoughts when I return home Sunday.:bored:

Don't forget OU @ Iowa State...amazing game. :bored:Yeah, sucks all around. But at least OU is still ranked pretty high and the way this season is going has the small chance at being upset. Only reason I'd put some interest in it.
Texas at Baylor though.... What a joke game. Our game should be on it before that one. Two programs fighting to survive is always more interesting then anything with Gaylor in it.

Well, tu still has their name and not many people have realized yet what mediocrity they've fallen into.
Maybe we'll get lucky and BU will play the game of their lives and beat the sips.

Sure....... Actually I don't see why it won't be on PPV. Our games never are because we don't sell out the stadium which you have too before you release it on TV.
Nebraska will sell out and PPV is up to their Athletic director. And this is a way to not only get them on TV but they are playing a team which they very well could beat so why not get some exposure when your'e down.

That was last year, when Baylor was "hanging" with the sips at half time. Of course the sips made a minor adustment at halftime and blew Baylor away during th enext 30 minutes, but the Gaylor fans and their fraudulant coach were bragging for a week about "hanging with the big boys".
This year it won't even be close by the end of the 1st quarter.

When will we know if it's going to be on?
I have company from out of state this weekend and we had plans to watch the game since they've never experienced an Aggie game. I'll pay as well if it's not too much.

Since Nebraska has just fired their AD, the chances of PPV went down.

And when we win -- we missed an opportunity to show what we can do. It's a double-edged sword Shag.

I don't want to argue (go figure?), but I think the nation definitely KNOWS what we can do.
A win over an anemic Nebraska will not gain us any favor.:gig:
