Found it interresting that Fran was "surprised that they ran the ball so much"...yet our players (Dodge, Gregg) said they weren't surprised that they ran so much...uhhh...clarify?

then I see OUR coaches' comments:
Our guys have been focussed & our coaches have done all they need to do

...and I have to just shake my head in disbelief...I realize they are two completely different games...but I can't help but think after a game like this where tech completely dominated us...that we would get something better than..."We (coaches) did all we need to do"...bull****.

I will have to agree. It is pretty weak compared to a Bob Stoops' no excuse approach which he took from day one of his hire.

are you serious? this has to be one of the dumbest things i have ever seen on an internet message and that is saying a lot. BB has improved Aggie athletics across the board since he has arrived.

BB and fran were hired at the same time. BB didn't hire fran those negotiations were going on early in the season before bb was here. Big money boosters hired fran.

byrne did not hire fran... the deal was in place before byrne was hired and it was byrnes "first job" to announce the fran hiring. the hire was done by the "big money" ags.

It's a done deal we all know Fran is gone, so just show up and support the players and hopefully they can win enough games to go to a bowl and the seniors can go out on some what a winning season. Bryne will take care of the other problem.

This is the key here.... Do it for the Seniors... Every Senior class wants to go out strong & with a win & more importantly they want to go out beating tu....

Lets hope this team plays their arse off for each other & for the Seniors.... :gig:

I have never enjoyed listening to Fran speak about anything, especially after a game. He is so uninspiring to listen to. Reminds me of a college history professor (nothing personal if you are a college history professor).

Byrne did not hire Fran, but he DID give Fran a big contrcat extension, after year 2 was it?

I cut him some slack, though, it looked like we were getting better.
