How can any Aggie not be an "anti-Fran" person. The man has embarrassed the University (maybe beyond any immediate relief). A win Saturday used to be a given against Tech, with Fran not so. I can't believe Tech has dominated us so much lately.

I went ahead and calculated (and enlarged) the numbers for you...

The series of A&M vs Texas Tech since 1960:
20-26-1 (Tech leads by 6 games)

A&M led the series in 1963 at 2-1-1 and then never led again. They tied it in 1994 at 17-17-1, but never took the lead in the head-to-head since 1960.

So, please refresh my memory when games versus Tech were sure wins...

And yes, the shots at myself and John are getting annoying (and old).

I'm not a fan of bashing a current coach or calling for his head during the season. I think is fairly clear that unless Fran wins big this year (and maybe even regardless), he's pretty much done. But NOTHING is gonna happen till after the season and contining to moan and bitch about the coach does nothing except bring a negative feeling around the team the same people claim to support.

I can't speak for Vly on this, but like I posted above, I just don't think its proper and worth the effort to constantly dog your coach while the season is still going on. It only bring down the team and program at the same time that you (a general you, not you specifically) are screaming for the team to win.

With any large group of people, such as a fan base, there will always be people who take a position opposite of you. A&M is no exception. No matter how bad Fran gets I am sure we could find people who would support him. That part is human nature.

I also agree with Vly. While I don't like what Fran has done at A&M so far our problems with tceh started long before he got here. And he's right about another thing: Winning does cure all.

1) John and I are separate people. He has his thoughts and beliefs... I have mine. So, please quit lumping us together.

2) I've never been willing to "fall on the sword" for Fran. I've never publicly cried to fire him and have explained several times why (it doesn't solve anything). With that said, I still run an Aggie website -- and when an A&M article needs to be written, sometimes that involves writing about the coach and what he's going through -- get over it.

3) Nobody will ban you for having an opinion. As long as you stay within the forum rules, you can disagree with me on everything.

4) I rag on people for all sorts of things. If you have been reading the forums, you'll see it all the time from Dustin, Whitey, Gravy, Massacre and more. I do it on several threads (many which have nothing to do with Fran). I'm just "the moderator" so people take my joking a little more seriously.

they have an ag that does a lawncare segment on the zone here in Austin and he talked about this last week because it's warm but people are starting to see their grass go dormant. The only caveat (sp?) to that is that if you have a brown "spot" then it's fungus and needs to be killed or it'll still be there in the spring next year.
