I've never made my name or identity a secret on here because I stand behind what I say.

That being said, I have certainly maintained privacy of my FREAKING CELL PHONE NUMBER, which has somehow been tracked down by Charley North and/or cronies in the past.

And the internship thing, again, was passed along through the grapevine by a couple people who I will not publically speculate about, but the end game was that those people made McKenzie aware that I would be working for a semester with Dr. Thornton in Student Athlete Services to satisfy a final internship credit for my Sport Management undergrad.

McKenzie didn't like it and fabricated a story for Thornton to give me and had him take away my internship in late November. Thornton made it very clear that his hands were tied. I have a lot of respect for the guy still.

I don't pretend to know how the staff got my cell phone number, as it was not published anywhere at the time.

It doesn't sound like Brandon did anything technically wrong. I do find it a little disconcerting though that he would be so chummy with a slime ball like Mackenzie. How objective could this site be if the owner is in cahoots with the coach's PR man? It's no wonder dissent is not tolerated at all here. I'm curious if Brandon was one of the people recruited to spread the propaganda about how "great" the Darnell hire was.

I never really defended Texags but at the same time have never really bashed them being I always that if there ever came a time it would piss me off I would do the amazing smart thing of....... just never go back. Coming over here and saying that site sucks just seems retarded to me.

But their football board is out of control. There is some crazy posting going on which makes me question some of the posters day by day grasp of this thing I call "real life"

The good news is I rarely go to the Football board anyway and just stick to Entertainment and Health and Fitness.

There are still good things about TA, but it's just annoying when 90% of the discussion is based on the SAME thing. People just waste time putting stuff like pg1 and random smilies which just clutters threads and you can have 5 pages with about 7 decent posts on there. It's just ridiculous :undecided:

Too much bias over there, but it's pointless trying to compare this site to them. Just continue having civil discussions about a variety of topics and things will do fine. If there are some intelligent "actual" football posts, this place is going to get a lot bigger and quickly.

I should be watching lost with my roommates right now so I'll post some more later. I hope that makes some sense
