heh, the folks over there actually seem like a somewhat decent bunch. I always thought Tide fans were the Tech style fans and Auburn was more like us. Maybe I'm way off though

Tide fans have always been like sip fans--overly confident & obnoxious, but not intollerable. Losing will humble though--ask your closest sip fan.

For whatever reason, we've had an unusual number of ties to Bama ... from the Bear to Stallings to Jackie (played at Bama under Bryant) ... and now ... Fran. They still owe us one.

I remember when Sherrill came to A&M, everyone was surprised because he seemed to be Bear's heir apparent at Alabama - he was made for the job, one of the Bear's boys.
