Red River Shootout

Texas and Oklahoma will meet in what is now called the SBC Red River Rivalry. The name change was announced Wednesday as part of a new three-year sponsorship agreement between the two schools and SBC Communications Inc.

That was a downgrade name wise

Texas wants the word "rivalry" in there, because most people believe A&M to be their rivals(which is correct).

I guess "rivalry" sounds more p.c. than "shootout", and we wouldn't want to upset anyone.

Wait guys, the word suck offends me. I've reported it, and the NCAA is issuing a press statement tomorrow. Starting this season, any team that would warrant the description "sucks", will now be referred to as, "good challenged." Any team that does not comply cannot participate in the post season and must wear pink jerseys for their remaining regular season games.
