Tied at 5 in the top of the sixth. Holliday getting chants of "M V P, M V P" I'm chanting too. Highest batting average, 1st in RBI and clutch this year. Go Rockies! BTHO Padres!

what about the catcher blocking the hand with his foot, is there a rule against that (ie plate interference), thus giving the runner benefit of the doubt?

One of the best games I have ever seen. Wow, glad I stayed up to see it.

Not sure when the voters had to have their rookie of the year votes in, but if they can still vote, then I think Tulowitzki showed why he should win it last night. Kid goes 4-7 with 1 RBI and 3 runs scored. I personally think he should have been player of the game over Holliday.

The ump may have blown the call at home, but they also blew the HR call earlier in the game.

That game was AWESOME! Holliday was probably out, but he would have touched home plate after Barrett dropped the ball if the ump didn't call him safe already. In all honesty they deserved it, no question. Holliday for MVP.

Nothing major. He just face planted his grill into the dirt on that slide and busted his mouth up a little.
