I noticed Reggie Bush crossed himself after he scored in last night's game, too. I had no idea, but I love that the camera caught it.

It's not just a Roman Catholic thing, y'all.

all 3 of those pics look like the players were either dancing or celebrating. what exactly were they dancing or celebrating about? a free trip to the OB?

I thought it was pre-game excitement myself.....but if it were me, I'd be off in a quite corner somewhere getting my head clear and my game face on.

Curly06

the dancing was pregame warm-ups... every song that was played was something we/they danced too.
prayer shots are as the team runs out before the game & at the half. they are displayed on flickr in the order they were taken.

Hey Curly what camera are you using?
Canon Rebel 6.3 megapixel i think?

what's with all the blurry ones... i think you need a faster shutter speed :undecided:
I posted from the start most werent good- the players & parents ask me to post them anyway so they can see.
You wanna fork up the $5,000 it cost for the correct night lighting + zoom lense? yea i cant afford that right now

NIKON SUCKS :mad::mad:

Curly06
09-27-2007, 09:51 AM
yea canons better than nikon when it comes to picture quality. use a canon camera and a nikon lense if its a matter of $$$

Mezentius
09-27-2007, 10:18 AM
I'm no expert what makes Nikon suck?
Not really a matter of money but when I can get a camera at below Nikon's cost I have to look seriously at them barring quality issues of course...which brings me back to the question:
Why does Nikon suck?

Curly06
09-27-2007, 10:25 AM
Im not an expert either, just know from my dad & the camera people at wolf. hes got several professional photographers at his church who have told him that. one has well over $10,000 in Nikon lenses. just a difference in picture quality.
Like sony vs toshiba i guess

Mezentius
09-27-2007, 11:18 AM
ahh ok makes sense.

dogdoc
09-27-2007, 11:59 AM
Nikon doesn't suck. The two brand are equivalent. It's like comparing Ford/Chevy, Pioneer/Panasonic, Yamaha/Denon. There are die hards in each group. Go play with each camera and get the one that feels more comfortable. I chose Nikon just because the D-50 has a bigger body and was more comfortable in my hands than the Rebel xt.

Miles:headslap: dogdoc. ;)

Curly06
09-27-2007, 12:08 PM
The two brand are equivalent.

no camera store or photographer ive ever met thinks that.
seen work from both. canon has a better picture quality plain and simple

dogdoc
09-27-2007, 12:18 PM
One of my clients is a professional photographer who uses Nikon. He will disagree. (See what I mean about die hards in each group.)

Curly06
09-27-2007, 12:22 PM
yea i stated above theres a professtional at our church who uses nikon- he admitted canon is better. every store ive been to says the same...... oh well
let the picture speak for itself:)

you don't test drive a car?
do research on a camera before you buy it?

any large purchase, or committment requires due dilligence...

As the proud father of 2 girls, I agree 200%.

Curly, you took something I wrote and twisted it. I was referring to getting to know a product (or someone) very well, before expending a large some of money (or a lifelong commitment). Hence, try before you buy. That doesn't necessarily have to do with sex.

zrf2002
09-27-2007, 04:25 PM

sure it doesnt....... ;)

just kidding. i have two little girls as well. the thing i worry about is keeping them away from guys like us.

keeping them away from guys like us.

yeah & we have another on the way (not sure if it's a little boy or girl)

that scares the ever living be-jujubees out of me...
good thing is...I know most of the tricks...& I'm trying to stay current so I can keep one step ahead of those little bastayds...

Curly06
09-27-2007, 04:28 PM

I'm not that worried actually. They will be raised right and their momma teaches high school and can be mean as hell.
