Well, I hope that puts their D in disarray so that we can still do well against them. Would hate for this guy to come in and turn out to be an awesome D coordinator.

What are the chances that this resignation was forced? Isn't the term "personal reasons" used in those situations?

You mean Leach may have got his pirate costume out? Could be... I'm scared of Pirates so I would have ran too.

saying he would be re-assigned means... "we don't want to buy out your contract but you're not effin up our defense anymore"

I don't know how much worse their defense could get. Unless they give our good friend Carl Torbush a call...

Could you imagine Tech with a good Defense. Or even Average one?

I guess it was obvious a change needed to be made. Hope this isn't their Kevin Sumlin moment

I can't believe the guy would resign after a game vs Oklahoma State. They score a lot of points. Especially with Northwestern State and Iowa State on the horizon, I would've stuck it out through then at least...

Could be wrong, but this wreaks of some arm twisting behind the scenes.

Edit: From reading the other site, it sounds like this guys wife has serious health problems, so I was wrong. At least he or somebody recognized that his head wasn't in the game, and rightfully so as family is more important, and made the change. Hopefully his wife gets better. Stay classy and admit when you were wrong!

They have been needing a change a DC for several years now. Don't know why the guy decided now was the time to leave.

That time could be used to install a new Defense or at least tweak the current one.....

I hope I'm wrong.. but if they were smart, that's what they should do during those games.....

That was a truly crazy game. It was like two guys playing play station.

Here is a question...what would happen if our Leadership Council voted to suspend Fran from the sidelines for the rest of the season? Since TJ Sanders seems to have had some good play calling ideas in the past, why not let him call the plays for the rest of the season? What is the very worst that could happen...we get embarrassed on national tv? Too late...our playcalling against Miami already accomplished that one...

I don't think they have that kind of power... however... I would like the Council to bring up obvious concerns to Fran....
