No. But if I performed at his level while at my job I'd be fired.

We're not football coaches. At least not most of us. But it doesn't take a football genius to recognize a well coached, well prepared team when you see one.

When he's a top 5 or so paid coach in the nation HE is under a microscope and evaluated by the results on the field. When an employee is not working to the employer's satisfaction he is shown the door.

Highway 6 still runs both ways. You can "stop talking bad about Fran". That's your perogative. Those of us who care about the program want someone better for the kids.

its not like Fran put up a good effort against a great team and came out a few points short. He put together a dismal effort against a BAD team and lost embarrassingly. He had a proven game plan that won 9 games last year and threw it away. He had a running game that took the #1 rush defense to the shed, and burned the playbook. No, Fran will and should not receive any credit for anything. Anyone who plays NCAA football could of made our offense work.

Here is the fallacy in your post, pearland:

fran told the media shortly after the ULM game that he and his staff recognized back in July that this last week was a "short week"! In fact, he kept referring to Sunday as "Tuesday". fran also claimed that as a result, he had been preparing the gameplan during the mid-summer and would adjust if needed.

If you really don't see a severe problem with this, I will never be able to explain why you seem to be in the minority regarding fran these days.
