Typically, when the heat is ON and it is ON a Head Coach will "Sacrifice" a underling to pacify the natives (usually the Alumni)...But in this case, I think it is both Alumni and current students, hell, everyone wearing maroon. So, will Les go?, Darnell?, Pope, Reveille?

I don't care. They should all be fired and I don't think the alumni will remain stupid enough to allow him to keep his job by playing the blame game again. The stadium will be absolutely empty next year if Fran is still the coach.
But to answer the question....I am going to go with Les. Fran will also place some blame on the yell leaders for doing cheers while we are on offense (the "reason" we lose to baylor)

Strong from Florida is a better choice...

Strong is a DC not a OC. Strong would not leave unless its to be head coach. He coached here before though so you never know.

He already sacrificed Torbush. The blame is all on Fran now.

Is coach Koenig responsible for the play calling???

Massacre - Did you also catch my jab at Fran not being anything close to an Aggie? (cheers)
Guat- I have heard that Les sends down a few suggested plays and Fran picks from there. I have no clue how reputable that is but I have heard it from many message boards (likely that it all came from the same source though)

That what I remember someone saying right after the Holiday Bowl loss...

Don't know if Koenig gets canned, but he will certainly get Fran's finger pointed in his direction.
Quite frankly, we'll probably do better for the remainder of th eyear if Koenig stays, THEN the whole group should get the old heave-ho.
Fran's "system" has failed.

Fran needs to run his offense not urban meyers offense. See 2004 season for Frans offense. He has never run the spread offense there for he dosn't know what he's doing and neither does Les. Fran has always run/taught a mulitple pro style offense with option rolled in. Thats HIS offense and he can teach that offense and scheme that offense. We have no clue how to run Spread offense right because no coaches on this staff have ever run or played in that offense.

We would be a better team if we didn't run the spread. We are not built for it. Pound the middle and then hit the edges, while mixing in some play action. It cannot be that hard.
I can't believe more people haven't voted for Fran's Balls Squeezer. That person was not squeezing hard enough, it's all their fault.

A&M has a strong history of sacrificing an assistant coach when things are not going as planned. However, I honestly do not believe Fran will let anyone go during the season. He let t-bush go after he had a miserable season and the defense was ranked last in almost every category. Don't see him pulling the trigger on anyone until after the season, at which time it may be too late.

Yeah, and that attitude seems to go all the way to the top in our athletic department. But, it might be immediately at the end.
