I wish I could. But Baylor is going to come to Kyle and play like it's their Super Bowl. If we have any hangover next weekend, it could turn far uglier than it already is. And it's ugly now.

I agree with you. bu is going to come at us with both barrels loaded. This is their biggest game of the year and they will be pumped. They always are. We better match that intensity.

Baylor will bring it! I think it will be a nail biter in College Station. Baylor always bring it against us!

It is a sad day when we are scared of BU coming into Kyle. Franphony has brought us alot of respect......no wait....I meant disrespect. We are a shell of our former selves. Will we ever dominate the Big 12?

Heed not Jonesy, we will! Sports are cyclical and our time will come. It will not be with Fran, that is certain. The season will unfold and if the path we are on holds, Fran will be fired. At some point, we will be dominate again, there is simply too much tradition here. If our BB program can get to the level it is at now, our FB program will get there when the right coach is hired.:gig:

I just hope to god it doesn't take the 20+ years it took our basketball program.

Actually beating the living eff out of Baylor always puts a smile on my face and would make me feel better. Easily my least favorite Big 12 team. :spy:

Baylor will be close for the first 4 minutes of the game and then we put them away. As poor as we played last nice, we aren't as bad we played and Baylor is really as bad as they have played.

I'd take Tech over Baylor any day of the week. At least I respect their program and coaches.

Ouch! Here I was pulling for the ags to do well against Miami. So, you don't respect Baylor, Baptists, Coach Guy Morriss, Baylor football program, or the players themselves?

Lay it out for me, will ya?

I know how you feel. You want to kick the cat, cuss the ole lady, stomp a curr dog, or knock a hole in the wall.

You can't fix what ails you by winning against Baylor. Noone will give you much credit if you do. Fran needs to beat some big time higher ranked opponents on National TV to offset the damage caused by his prior poor performances. Baylor had nothing to do with those games and those failures.

you are right about that. beating baylor will do nothing to fix our problem. the media and fans expect teams compiled of middle school girls to be able to beat baylor consistently.

Hey Bear, welcome to the board! I think the best policy for Ags right now is to seal the lips tight when it comes to Baylor, this is in no way a gimme! Say what you want about Morris, but what I've seen the last few years is that his team and scheme come at A&M with no holes barred. I think A&M wins but it will be a nail biter! Again welcome to the board, stick around, and go the user panel and get the Baylor Bear avatar!

Last time Baylor was here it took a last minute drive complete with a 4th down conversion deep in our own end to save the day.

We used to own Baylor. Now we are fighting for our lives against them..........

Actually when you think about it...You walk out of Kyle after laying a 50 point beating on baylor(which I dont think will happen) and the first thought that comes to your mind is the loss to Miami and all of this starts over again...The only positive thing that could have happened in this situation is for us to be at OU next week so that we could get that out of the way and have a rallying cry to win out and regain some respect...as it is...we'll beat BU and OSU and then go to lubbock...we wont have gained anything in beating BU and OSU and the STORY will still be how we can beat up on the little guys and not win in prime time...Our next best hope is a win over the tards...and I think that is highly questionable given the state of our pass D....even if we do...then we have to win again in Lincoln...if that happens, we start having a spark of confidence...then roll over KU just in time to start getting mentioned in the paper again prior to going into Norman....maybe the game gets picked up for ESPN...what a blessing(sarcasm)...

I'll be there to cheer for an Aggie win. Fran should be gone, no matter what happens the rest of the year, so I hope our players don't quit on the team (ISU game '05) and embarrass more than Fran already has (if that's possible).

I think we'll beat Baylor but it will be close, and we will do so in somewhat sloppy fashion - getting a "W" but creating more questions about this team than are answered. But I'm gonna be PO'd if Fran let's the team come out for that game looking like wet noodles like he did at Miami last night. They ought to be focused and ready to prove something against a B12 team.

Hey thanks! Not over hear to dog pile you fellas. Miserable loss last night for all. I can't predict how A&M/Baylor plays out. I think it will be a war, no matter what happened in Miami or Ft Worth or any prior games, if history is any measure. Just one of those grudge matches for Baylor. I wish the Bears would get that fired up for the Horns every year. We have a game to play at Buffalo that we should win. But, who knows, based on what we've seen this year.

I went over to get that avatar, but that is not a good one for the Baylor Bears. That is Green Bear, the one we discontinued after we fired that AD Stanton that spent all that money developing that piece of crap. That is not the one we use today.

just to play devil's advocate, but what if we win out----win the big 12 and our BCS game???

I'm not saying that will happen, after last night we are probably looking at another gallery furniture.com bowl (is that even still around)

but if we did do that...would you change your tune?? Or still call for his head??

Knowing Loftin, he'd still call for his head and say the players did it in spite of the coaches (so imagine what we could do with "real" coaches).
