I was going to warn you that listening to those wouldn't make you feel any better. Just drink until you need to sleep, Monkey Boy. That's what I'm gonna do.

I'm okay with saying, "We lost because of TOs," but why did we turn the ball over so much?

Either try to score at the half or kneel it out. Don't put your center & tackle as up-men on kickoffs........thats 2 TOs right there.....now who do you blame for that?

Dustin00whoop

Now that I think about it, we don't have to kick an onside & we win that game 17-14.....what could've been!

riight, but wasn't it pretty obvious that turnovers weren't the major reason for our loss?

our line looked pathetic.
McGee isn't right
Laaaane...hellooooo?
Goodson up the middle...:bored:
our defensive backs forgot that they are supposed to stop a pass every now & then...& last I checked a safety's job is to keep everything in front of him...when you play 30 yards off the ball...how do you get beat deep...? wait, I know... THEY were distracted thinking "Why in the HELL have we NOT given Lane the ball yet"...then, "O, sheeot, there's a guy behind me!"

f'n stupid media...obvious question not asked...

WHY wasn't Lane used more???

correction:

Why wasn't Lane used???

Agreed, slot & white....just saying, if we played the whole game with the sense of purpose that we showed in the 4th....we win going away.

You can say that Thug U knew they had it won, but you can't argue that the play calling was a lot different.

whitelightnin_23
09-21-2007, 03:01 AM
yeah, play calling wasn't much different...we (JJ) just executed...

also, weren't Miami in their 2nd team defense?

Agree with Dustin. I am tired of hearing him and the excuses he comes up with. The team was not ready to play.

I forced myself to listen to this bull crap! I can't even believe he actually said "the exhibition season is over"! Have you completely lost your mind! wtf! For $2 million, we get "the exhibition season is over"

Sorry to disagree with the masses, we didn't lose due to turnover! Sure they made a difference, but come on, we had no gameplan for them, we were completely outcoached, from the moment the game started. Think about it, in a game with no turnovers on either side, we still lose, we couldn't stop them on D and we couldn't move the ball on O, that has nothing to do with turnovers. I actually laughed when we had the ball, Goodson runs right to break it to the outside, and the outside backer is sitting there waiting for him, he'd been there for a few seconds, he knew exactly the play that was going to be called, that is how predicatable we were. Sorrry ladies and Gents we didn't lose due to turnovers.

When you down 24 points after the half, you can still come to win. Tceh does that shyat all time. We are not built for that. They turned the ball over many times as well, but again they knew what were going to do before we did.

Actually, that's how bad our O'line was. There was Cane penetration on almost every play. If you were to have looked up at the TV a milisecond after each snap, you would have sworn that they were lining up one or two of their players in our backfield.

The fumbles DID contribute to the butt kicking, but you are right, without those fumbles we lose anyway. They came to play, for some reason we did not. They were prepared, we were not (in spite of Fran's comments otherwise).

Do you think this is an indication of where y'all are at?

Fran:
"I don't know, I need some time to evaluate that. Things are never as quite as bad as they seem or as good as they seem..."

ARE YOU F'ING KIDDING ME!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?

We had 38 GD yards in the FIRST HALF. AS BAD AS THEY SEEM?!?!?!!? They were by all accounts as bad as it gets. The only worst first half of aggie football I have ever watched was at Nebraska in the late 90's.

Later...

"We got beat by the better team tonight"

Miami was unranked and got slaughtered by OU. You have said you had the most talent of any team in the last 5 years and you were taking shots at OU and tu in press conferences. WHAT KIND OF CRAP IS THIS?!?!?!?

Yep. I feel sorry for the players, but I also feel sorry for myself and all Aggie faithful who have kept the faith only to be proven wrong. I'm done.

Our next trip to A&M will be in January for a BBall game.

my next trip is the Baylor game.
I'll be there but I'm not sure what to think...I've never been in this situation before...even when RC was on his way out.

I feel like I've been used by Fran...he sold me a bill of goods...

I wonder if the game will be pulled from Vs? I hope not, because I want to see how the students show their displeasure and I wish it would embarrass Fran, but I honestly don't think he gives a sh!t. He's made his money and is going to make a few more million no matter what happens this year, so where's the motivation?

at this point and judgin from last night's game. fran has no motivation to do anything at all and is content with the money he has and will be laughing all the way to bank even if he is canned after this season.

What is most disturbing to me and absolutely makes my blood boil, is he said the exact opposite before the damn game, that this game would be a marking stick for where the team is, now that all of a sudden changes? Why because you lost? He even said that because this game was a marking point for the season they put in extra time during the summer just for this game! I wonder what would have happened if you hadn't put in the extra time, God only knows!

he has clearly shown that he is not the coach that we were expecting when we hired him. we should let J.Train do the Aggie drill 1 on 1 against frannie this week in practice.

I think fran couldn't answer the question because he was in shock like the rest of us. I know I didn't have much to say after the game.

I am just floored a head coach would say he's not sure why his premier powerback didn't get the ball. That is astonishing!

Peace,
