The Great One is a co-owner of the franchise. If he can translate some of his skills to his team, they ought to be pretty good.

I'm not too sure about this either, not from the marketing stanpoint, rather from the coaching standpoint, if he sucks as a coach it could affect his good name. Maybe not right, Magic Johnson sucked as a coach but he is still Magic. I just don't think he will be that good as a coach, but I could be wrong.

It is also a good gimmick, to generate some badly needed publicity for the NHL. They need it.
