This was in the Aggie Hotline on Tuesday. Is that what you're talking about? I haven't seen them either...
Sculptures By Musician Herb Alpert On Display At Cain Park
Cain Park, which is just across the street from Kyle Field and the MSC, is the temporary home to three sculptures by artist and musician Herb Alpert. The three sculptures were installed last Friday, and a fourth sculpture was installed on West Campus at the western terminus of Old Main Drive. Organizers say the bronze sculptures are influenced by traditional totem styles of the Native American tribes of the Pacific Northwest. The MSC Visual Arts Committee (VAC) worked with the artist to bring these sculptures to the Texas A&M campus as part of the VAC's Annual Outdoor Sculpture Exhibit. More information on the exhibit can be found at <http://vac.tamu.edu (http://vac.tamu.edu/)>. Special needs arrangements can be made by calling 845-9251.

New art but not out of place. I had class everyday for four years on West Campus and there has been artwork there as well as different sculptures at Cain.
