Seems the coach & player don't see eye to eye & Charles is making it known...

Texas' ground game does not need a different scheme, offensive coordinator Greg Davis insists. Nor does it require a predetermined number of running plays to be productive, he added. But RB Jamaal Charles said Tuesday that the offense's "sideways" rushing attack has made him a more "hesitant" ball carrier.

Funny how when VY was there, Greg Davis and Mack III were the best coaches in the country. In year two post VY, its becoming clear that VY was the reason for their success, not the coaches.

I think Charles admiting he is hesitant is a bad thing for tu..... Yet they were pumping him as a Heisman hopefull before last year & this year he is listed above Goodson & Lane in virtually every RB listing out there.... :stupid:

Mack is a good recruiter for athletes headed to the texas penal system. He has never been viewed as a good coach.

Yes, I used the word penal.

Thought I would go ahead and point that out before all you children put up the laugh icon.

Sorry, I must have missed that post. I completely understand that slong words have a 23 hour exclusive rights clause. Please forgive me. I will be sure to use slang dang the rest of the day.

Jamaal Charles has never been very good. His only season with success was when Vince Young and Ramonce Taylor were in the same backfield. Last year, he couldn't beat lowly Selvin Young out of a starting job.

Very true....

Wasn't Charles the one who asked Mack Daddy to take him out of "big game" situations last year? Now he's claiming to be "hesitant"?

That idiot is going to ruin his college career, and any chance to make some serious money afterwards. He needs to shut up and prove he knows more than the coaches before he criticizes them.

Mack should bench him for a couple of games and see if his opinion of the play calling doesn't miraculously improve.

Hell... I'd just bench em.... I am sure one of the other RB's on the tu roster wants to get in the game & will do what's asked of him....

Yes, I like your approach better. Plus, they'd get a head start on developing a replacement.

Especially since according to rivals :stupid: everyone tu has is a 4 & 5 star recruit....

Where is this stable that they have been recruiting???:wow:

It's safe to say that Texas is no longer a strong running team. They went from Priest Holmes to Ricky Williams to Cedric Benson, but now they have nothing.

That's obvious to us Aggie Fans but try getting a t-sip fan to admit that.

Yup, he's the one. He frequently asked to be taken out of games last year when they were on the line.

You can't run the zone read without a running QB....end of story!

And Greg Davis is not real popular amongst the Horn faithful either. I bet they were devastated when he did not get the Minnesota job.
