Sounds like they need some procedures in place for loading warheads on a plane.

stuff like that probably happens more often than you think.

point is we dont know everything that goes on. why does it suprise you?

you should claim this quote as your theme or something. we have seen it quite a few times regarding all kinds of stuff.

the good thing about it is no one can support or deny it so anyone can say it and be right.

good work.

Whatever, Mass. Her saying that probably happens less often that most of the people that never post on this site think.

Yes, you are correct. The media NEVER reports any mistakes the government makes. Have you been living in a cave in Afghanistan? :bored:

I never said it was surprising....simply that it is kind of a big deal that a plane was carrying nuclear warheads across the country and didn't even realize it. What if this was a training exercise and they were firing at fake targets out in the desert?

never said we dont get gov reports- once again learn how to read the post. we dont get everything.... why do you think reports come one years later bout stuff that was hidden or went wrong? because the gov hid it or changed the facts along the way.

you are amazingly naive if you dont think theres stuff goin on with the government no one knows about!! are you kiddin me? you cant serisouly think the public knows everything- nor that they need to know- (what the public needs to know is a whole different thread)

I'm sure that we have bombers with nuclear warheads flying over American soil on a routine basis and have been doing so since the beginning of the cold war.

The issue here was that these missles were being transported for decommissioning and should have had the warheads removed and loaded seperately.

I never said that we get everything. Read my post! I'm simply stating that we hear all the time about things that our President & representatives have done wrong through the media.

Why is it okay for you to make your ridiculously vague posts, but its not okay for someone to call you out on them?

CopeIt

no, the issue is that the pilots and everyone else involved had NO CLUE they were carrying nukes.....

just because we hear things- doesnt mean we know everything that goes on- we get a small faction of what really happens with the governement. you can argue agaisnt that all day long but it doesnt change you dont know everything.

its not "callin someone out". its you starting stuff over nothing.

this doesnt suprise me was the statement stuff goes wrong all the time and we dont find out about it til much later if at all. its not a vague post nor is it incorrect.

Yeah...this is actually a huge deal. It looks like heads are rolling already...and i'm sure it will continue. I just don't know how this happened...There are so many security and "fail-safe" procedures when handling nukes. Contrary to some beliefs, incidents of this magnitude don't happen as much as you think. Yes, the military f's up too...but the public doesn't need to know about every incident. Of course something like this is hard to be discreet about...;)

thats the point same thing i said- crap happens we dont always find out about it. no clue why dustin and others dont understand that concept. this isnt the first time somethings wrong wrong nor will it be the last.
Put the snacks away kids:) - arguement ends here- goin back on ignore. nothing vaulable or important comes out of this mouth.

So what you are saying is that is doesn't happen ALL THE TIME & that the government isn't basically spending every waking moment trying to hide it?

Right...stuff like this is very rare. The military doesn't spend every waking moment trying to hide things from the public. A lot of accidents and incidents are on a need-to-know level. I'm in the Air Force and I just heard about this a few days ago...

What are you talking about? That is you standard flux capacitor. It might have 1.21 gigawatts of electricity to operate but what you do you think is powering that?

Yeah, I thought so. A Plutonium powered nuclear reactor. Brush up on your science and then come back.
