Why is Mack Brown & others considered better than Frank Beamer? Beamer's been at Va Tech for now 21 years, taken Va Tech to more BCS Bowls (4).

I saw the peice about Va Tech on ESPN & when they said he was there for 21 years... I couldn't help but wonder why people don't mention him with some of the better coaches in the Nation... He's always forgotten about...

He has a Coaching record just at Va Tech of 156-82-2.... That's pretty damn impressive....Since 87 he's only had 4 losing seasons & has won 4 Conference Champs.....

Just something that got me thinking....

That's why Beamer gets overlooked. I think he is a great coach.

But other coaches haven't won MNC's & are considered a Top Notch Coach.... I just think he's being short changed... JMO....:popcorn:
