with bipolar you experience a wide range of emtions at the drop off a hate- which is why i said id want to piss him off to start- just dont expect that emotion to last long... anything can send a bipolar in million directions with no warning

Based on what has been out in the open the pressure has caused him to crumble emotionally. If he was getting pissed don't you think you would've heard stories of him fighting teammates, waving guns at highschool kids, etc? He crumbled and it was confirmed by his teammates. He cancelled his cell phone because he couldn't handle the agents and scouts calling him.

While it's still unclear exactly why Blake left, the 22-year-old senior appears to be adjusting to a level of attention and expectations he hasn't faced before.
"Maybe it was a little bit of the pressure of everything," Patterson said last week. "A lot of things go through a kid's mind. We will give him time to do what he needs to do. We know what he can do on the field."
Patterson has said Blake got rid of his cell phone because of frequent calls and messages from friends and would-be agents since the spring. NFL scouts are constantly at practice watching Blake and other TCU players.

i never said he didnt crumble. its obvious hes having trouble with his situation. just because you dont see anger doesnt mean its not there. just stating i would try to get that emotion instead of the others- but of course you want to argue over nothing.
its sad he was diagnosed with that disorder- hopefully he can get some treatment that helps:sad:

If Blake has been diagnosed as bi-polar that can be treated with medication. It makes a world of difference for the person being treated correctly. That permanent mental roller coaster ride they are on changes to a more smooth sailing mental ride.

You'd also run the risk of making him end up crying in the fetal position in the back of his sisters car on the road to Port A

My niece is bi-polar. The previous, non-politically correct term (but more accuate IMO) is "manic-depressive".
The meds they give you to control it leave you feeling "numb" (Pink Floyd comes to mind) all the time. Many hate that numb feeling more than the depression part of the disease, and they certainly miss the euphoric highs as well.
It's a tough disease. As I understand it (wife and child are both students aat TCU), Blake left school and went to visit his grandmother to whom he is close. She talked him in to returning to school and football. The real truth is, we won;t know 'till Saturday!
I think a bigger problem fro TCU will be their quarterback....can he step up? They lost a two-year starter after last season. Their defense, Blake or not, will surprise t.u. and anyone else not familiar with them.
And I've said this before (last year) - a TCU/A&M series would be great for both teams. And there's NOTHING like watching and hearing the band and Corps march down Main Street Fort Worth with the old court house in teh background, on a clear, crisp autumn morning!

I didn't say she never warranted any criticism. Just pointing out the fact that she has made it to the second page without getting the usual spirited debate many of her posts seem to bring.

We need to concentrate on what Texas A&M does. If we will take care of our business, it will make no difference what the others do.
Coach John Wooden never was concerned what his opponnets were doing. He never was concerned about adjusting to what they did. He worked on his plan and forced opponents to adjust to him.

i dont care what subject it goes under--- nor do i ignore whats goin on with other teams
theres life outside of A&M:)
to whoever asked how he got caught:
tcu does a mandatory drug test to cover their butts I guess. He got caught, so the university suspended him for a year, which may be a good thing. He will be a junior and has never red shirted..
