So my g/f's parents are huge sip fans. We always kid eachother and I was thinking that getting them tickets to the game would be a huge jump in points for me. The problem is that means I should probably get them for my parents too... and the bigger problem is that'll be the first time they ever meet. Should I chance it?

do u really want that kinda turmoil brewing around that game???

i would say don't, so u can relax and concentrate on the important thing that happens on t+1

i wouldn't do it. you want them to meet for the first time in a non-confrontational, non-hostile environment, i would think.

The key would be if they got happy drunk or just mean drunk... both sets are usually happy drunks.

Not knowing each set of parents personalities, I would think it would be best if they met in a more neutral environment the first time. If either parent is very passionate and vocal about their team, it could set a lasting impression on the other parent.

T+1 is never going away & if you & your g/f get hitched, neither are they.... I say do it now... Prepare for the worst & Expect the best...

Regardless of what happens.. it's not a relationship killer...

My wife is a sip & so is her family... they know I bleed Maroon & White & will throw up the upside down horns in a heart beat....

They got over it & while we still give each other grief.... on T+1 we are all cool....

The game isn't for 3 months. Get both sets the tickets and then somehow around a meeting beforehand.
