Does the ACC really need Miami & FSU to be great for the Conference to be considered a great conference???

Virginia Tech usually makes them look better than FSU and Miami do. Clemson, Georgia Tech and Maryland are inconsistent, but often help the conference look better. UNC, Wake Forest, NC State and Virginia will have good years every now and then. Boston College was a great addition as far as their image is concerned, as well. Duke is a joke in football, but every BCS conference has at least one school like that (Big XII has Baylor, PAC-10 has Stanford, Big 10 has Northwestern, SEC has Vanderbilt, Big East has Cincinatti).

I figured UCONN would be the joke for the Big East... but I understand what your saying...

The Big East has a few jokes, and that's why they're the laughing stock of the BCS.

But I was just wondering to piggy back off my initial post.... Would the Big XII Need tu & OU & NU to be considered great???
What if A&M, Okie Lite, & Missouri became dominant & battled it out for 10 years straight for dominance....
What if UNC, UVA, & Va Tech battled it out for the ACC during that same time...
AZ, Wash, & UCLA during that same time...
MSU, PSU, & Iowa....
Just curious.....

No, the conference would still get respect. A&M, OSU and Mizzou dominating the conference would only indicate a shift in power within conference. Look at the Big 10 a few years ago when Penn State sucked and Wisconsin was the best team. They still got respect.
