Is he getting lost in the shuffle????

A lot of good things are being said about K. Smith... we all know about "Shock & Awe", & recently Bradley Stephens is getting praise from Fran...

I know what's reported & what happens don't always match up 100%.... but I haven't heard much about him lately....

I read something about him a few days ago that said that he might be a big play maker this year. Not sure where I read it. It was on one of the articles linked on Texags.

I thought he'd been mentioned quite a bit. I remember Fran saying something about Tarrant and Smith being good in the same sentence (As in, you hear about Lane and Goodson, but . . .).

I heard that too.. but as of late, I haven't heard his name mentioned.... doesn't really mean anything... just something i thought was odd.....

Well, with Lane and Goodson, no other RBs will see significant time in games that aren't blowouts. I don't think Smith has passed Tarrant, and I think Stephens will redshirt.

Smith would play before Tarrant because he is more of an overall back. Talent-wise, Tarrant would probably be #2 behind Goodson (half tongue in cheek to get Loftin riled up...put Tarrant is really good), but he is just not picking up on the blocking schemes & pass routes like Keondra has.

Any chance of Tarrant on returns?

It did seem like I saw some mention of Smith in an article talking about McGee checking down to secondary receivers, including backs. But Tarrant wasn't mentioned. Might be because he is a more complete back, as you say.
