Has Anyone heard anything about them lately, I seem to remember both were recruited for their speed of the edge. Freeney was also a national top 100 guy, and now is entering his rsSoph year, but is nowhere to be found int he depth chart.

I had high hopes for both of them, anyone have any details? Thanks.

On this Depth Chart as of July 7th..... he's 3rd on Depth behind Harrington & Gbunblee..... Williams is also behind Bennett & Obiozor......

Rivals has gotten things wrong in the past, but their Depth Charts are normally pretty accurate & they do a decent job of staying on top of that part of their site....

I know they are on the depth chart, but i thought they would be making some noise with their play by now.

So did I.... It's 1 of 2 things...

1) Our depth at DE is so good that despite their talent, they can't move up....

or

2) Their not meeting expectations...

This could possibly be the understatement of the year.

Freeney is hurt all the time. Cody Williams is a good pass rusher but not a complete end.
The fact that we have 1 JUCO DE and are in the top 2 with another should you what the staff thinks

Yeah, Polish nailed it, as far as Freeney goes. Freeney has had a nagging shoulder injury since he arrived on campus. If he isn't back to 100% this year, expect him to retire.

When you said Williams, I was thinking Vincent. He has moved to the O-line & former O-lineman, Lucas Patterson has moved over to DT. Evidently, Patterson has caught on nicely & is getting a lot of run from the O-linemen he is going up against in practice. I haven't heard much about how Vincent's move is working out.
