Moody started four games in 2006 as a true freshman and was the 2nd leading rusher on team, despite missing the final four games with a sprained ankle.
Moody finished 2006 with 459 yards on 79 carries (5.8 average) with two touchdowns. He also caught three passes for 39 yards.
The Sporting News named him Pac-10 Offensive Freshmen of the Year.
He from Texas (Coppell). He was orignally commited to texas but switched to USC. Wonder where he goes

Being from Texas or being recruted by tu doesn't equate to him ending up there..... If that's what you mean....
Rocky Hinds (UNLV QB) was originally recruited by HEAVILY by both tu & USC... he ended up at USC & transfered out also... and obviously he ended up at UNLV...
Most kids... not all, but most kids when they Tranfer... they go to Non-BCS Schools so they can take over the starting spot right away... if they go to a BCS school then it's a lower tier school....

Sounds like this guy could be an impact player for just about any team. Not sure that we would be interested in him.

He obviously wants to start & with Goodson, Tarrant, Smith & Stephens... not to mention Gray being a strong possibility to committ..... It doesn't seem he wants that type of comp....
If he goes Non-BCS I could see him end up in a Mountain West team or a WAC Team..... if he goes BCS then I could see a lower teir SEC, Big XII or Big East school....

I doubt USC releases him to a BCS team just because that could come back to hurt them if the teams play.

That's why I think it'd be a lower level BCS School.... a school like Syracuse, Indiana, Vanderbilt, North Carolina, hell possibly even baylor or Kansas if he wanted to go Big XII....
But my money is on a Non-BCS School.... He could go Boise State & take over after their RB graduates this year.... Could end up at TCU, or some upper level MAC school....

Pum I didn't mean he was going to Texas. Not everybody knows who these people are, it was just a description
I hope he doesn't go to TCU

I think they are a school quite a few kids from BCS teams would consider.....
They could pad their stats playing against weaker schools & also get decent TV time being on a Media Darling Team trying to crash the BCS Bowl scene...
Boise State & TCU seem logical, but you never know... I don't see Hawaii as a choice because of the lack of possible TV time...

Well, I guess Moody saw the writing on the wall. Joe McKnight must be the real deal!

He'll go to Okie State.
Usually when kids transfer to O$U its because they got in trouble with the law & had their 'ship pulled at their other school, ie JamesOnProbation Curry, Adarius Bluntman, etc.

With a last name like Bluntman...

Yeah, I know why they normally go there. Just wait and see.

There's a reason A&M is number for on that list. But he would have to sit a year :wow:

I put A&M #4 on that list on purpose.... They are in alphabetical order....
But if he did sit a year... and next year to have a backfield of Lane, Goodson, Tarrant, Stephens..... :wow:

Yeah, he is leaving a school with a stable of backs to transfer to a school with a stable of backs. It ain't happening.

Then ND or OSU would be his only choices.... But why else mention A&M or OU????

at some point in time it might be nice to have you post at least some type of source for the comments you make. or say that it is a rumor or that you heard it around somewhere.

AWolf has been pretty spot on about a ton of things before it was made official and public...so until proven otherwise I will take what he has to say with some serious consideration.
off topic but what is the deal with Middlebrooks- he didn't sign, so is he coming here of going JUCO and try again next year

that is just fine. i wouldn't have even minded if you responded with "i just pulled the info out of my arss" - just thought others, along with myself, might want to know what the source was.
i'm not saying in any way that you are not credible, just clarification.

I am very curious about the source too...but as long as the info coming out is good it doesn't bother me as much
hopefully you can break him tro so you can get him to reveal the source

he didn't sign and the deadline passed this Wednesday at midnight...so the has to go to JUCO and can enter the draft next year, or go to a 4 year and enter 3 years from now.
I will start a thread so it won't be off topic anymore

The Red Sox nabbed two of the Aggies' top recruits. William Middlebrooks and Drake Britton both signed in the later stages of the game. The right-handed pitching Middlebrooks, a fifth rounder, agreed to a $950,000 signing bonus, while the lefty Britton agreed to a $700,000 signing bonus even though he was drafted in the 23rd round.
I have facts where are yours? :spy:

conflicting reports! But seriously I doubt they pulled the signing bonus out of thin air.

he's seems to be pretty accurate so i'm not too concerned with the source. i was just wondering though if he was a lucky guesser or actually had some type of source.

I know that he is being recruited by us. It comes from a site that knows whats going on. It has been said on this site that JTrain will look hard at going pro after his junior year and Goodson will most likely go his Junior year. This would leave Moody battling Stephens, Hall, and Tarrant. Also it's been said if we don't get Gray we will really push hard for Moody.

The latest info on Moody seems to be that he does in fact have a final four teams:
Texas (who he was verbally committed to prior to switching to USC)
North Carolina (Butch Davis and John Blake recruiting)
Florida (who really needs a good running back)
and Oklahoma State (closest of the schools to his home town)
He hasn't taken a single visit and all visits have to be on his own dime. He was supposed to be at OSU today for a visit, but it got pushed back a day or two.
OSU started school today and I think the other three start next week. I'm 90+% certain that he has to be enrolled by Friday for this semester to count.

moody has now narrowed his list to 2 schools, florida and unc.
http://sports.espn.go.com/ncf/news/story?id=2989999
i guess that is good since we will not have to see him in big xii play. it says he was also considering tu and okie state. no big surprises....

Wow, I thought for sure the Okie State would be in the mix. If he wants to be the featuer back, then Okie State might have been the best fit for him. I don't see him as the feature back at Florida. I have no idea what the RB situation looks like at UNC.
Speaking of UNC, they are going to be really good, really fast.
