These preseason rankings mean absolutely nothing. Basically you have a bunch of sportswriters out there that are as bored as we are just looking for something to do. They put together some ranking on a while they are in a state of college football deficiency. They are not able to function normally and therefore make a list that is basically a bunch of crap.

Colt McCoy at QB????? Jorvorskie Lane not on the list?????

Otherwise it's not too bad a list. McCoy has been at the top of everyone's Big XII QB list this preseason, so that's not really shocking. Savage (OSU) over Lane is pretty weak, though. Also, no Bennett? I guess those Mizzou guys get all the hype at that position, kinda like McCoy at QB. Though them at TE is more understandable.
