some backup center for tceh was granted an additional 1/2 year of elgibility after he got hurt during the conference opener against ou..... seems kind of odd and could open the door for a lot of football players to regain some elgibility.
so does that mean he has to wait to play the conference half of the schedule or is he required to play the first 6 games of the season?

this is kinda along these lines:
i didnt know someone who only played 1 year, could come back at the age of 26 & still have 3 years of eligibilty:wow:

dont think he could play D1- D2 yes-
thats what my friend is doin- jacksonville set him up where he could still play at 26!
as an 18 year old, i wouldnt want some huge 26 year old man comin at me:wow:

yep but he didnt start school then come back 8 years later... (nor is he freakin huge)
the 8 years in between is what i was shocked at... elgibility is all bout whos asking ;)
In D1 once you start playing the clock starts. Once 5 years is up that's it.

duh! ;) thats why i said no japhus cant play D1- he could play D2
