He is right on about the tech game. We can't keep losing to them. They are an inferior school with less talent than we have. No excuses for losing to them all the time.

The Texas win was a bit of a mirage since the defense was erratic throughout the year.


was the defense really that erratic last year? I don't remember it as such...
I remember slow starts as being our only real problem on D...

I'll disagree with this part too:

i agree. yeah, our schedule is probably the most difficult it has been in years, but i would not say it is any more difficult than trying to navigate through a conference schedule in the SEC. this season will tell us a lot regarding the direction of the team and how far they have come. these are the types of schedules we need to play, and win in order to starting getting some national attention and the attention of the best recruits in, not just in the state, but around the country.

Yes, the defense would give up crap loads of yards one quarter or half and then shut down a team the second half

yeah, I guess I can see that...

more so in the last half of the season (was more noticeable)...in giving up the bulk of the rushing yards.

But every SEC team has to deal w/ playing an SEC schedule. I think that our schedule is tougher relative to other Big XII schools.

That said, that doesn't preclude A&M from winning the conference or the South. I still think there's a good chance of it.
