Wow. Not sure what to think about this. First, the book and now this. A video game company will be coming out with a football game called "All-Pro Footbal 2K8." This game will have OJ on a team called "The Assassins." Their mascot is a hooded man, wearing black gloves, that carries a large knife. I wish I was making this up.

the game isn't just strictly OJ. It has something like 200 former players in the game. But that team name and drap is very tasteless.
I read somewhere that the Goldmans have already won a case to seive all the money OJ makes from it to pay for the civil case

OJ is begging for someone to cap his ass.....
Ron Goldman must have incredible restraint.

There is no way this thing actually hits store shelves.

I can't believe these other guys would allow themselves to be associated with this.

This whole charade has been unbelievable. oj acts the way he does, yet wants us to believe he had no involvement in the murders. He also wants us to believe he is broke and can't afford to pay off the judgment in his civil suit.
The video game company responsible for this obviously has no conscience. Will do anything to get attention and make an extra dollar. Sad to see people go to such lows just to get their name in the paper.

I saw that it came out yesterday...just trying to figure out if stores are going to actually carry it. I wouldn't see stores like Wal-Mart, Best Buy, etc. carrying it.

I bet most, if not all, didn't know that OJ would be on there on a team called the "Assassins."

unbelievable...
I saw where the Goldman's obtained the rights to OJ's book & plan on releasing it (in order for OJ to pay back the "wrongful death" lawsuit).
I wonder if this is the same arrangement (the proceeds that OJ would receive go to the Goldman's)...
if so, that's f'd up...

I bet the stores that are selling it have no idea how this is portrayed on the game. I'm also really surprised that this didn't make bigger news.

Okay, let me rephrase...I bet there is no way this stays on the shelves.

the game isn't really based on the oj part. They could easily take it out and still have a great game to sell. It supposed to be the first "true next generation game"

Sure, they could take it out if the game wasn't released yet, but it is available in every major store that sells video games.

A customized video clip (http://www.gametrailers.com/player/22432.html) on the Game Trailers Web site shows Simpson game highlights as his team, "The Assassins," moves down the field. Toward the end of the clip, Simpson scores a touchdown, prompting a large hooded mascot (above) above the scoreboard to make stabbing motions with a large knife.
The video clip represents an externally created scenario of possible outcomes if the Simpson character plays a game for the Assassins team, but wasn't generated by Take-Two. The decision of Take-Two's 2K Sports label to include Simpson in the game, despite his past, could possibly be defended, considering his place in football history. But's it's unclear why the company would use a mascot that had the potential to play on Simpson's notoriety as the accused in the 1994 murder of his former wife, Nicole Brown, and her friend, Ron Goldman.
The article states that this is something the gamer would have to create. Regardless, even having that as an option in the game shows little class on the developers part.

The game is out, OJ is in it, on a team called the Assassins, with a knife carrying mascot.

I was just commenting on what the article said. It stated it was an externally created scenario. I wasn't saying it could not be reproduced or wasn't in the game. I don't agree with it being a part of the game and think it is very irresponsible on the part of the game company.
