Few injuries can change a conference... but I think this could be one that really could change things in the conference....

Temple cried out in pain and did not return after being carted off. Coach Gary Pinkel did not have any immediate information about the injury or whether Temple would be sidelined.

How does this change things in the Big XII????

wow...that sucks for Missou...
they were (and are) getting a lot of positive press in the pre-season & expectations are raised...looks like this will change some of that...

Their backup is Jimmy Jackson, a 5-9, 200 lb. junior. He averaged 3.8 ypc last year and had 1 TD.

That's why they play the games. We'll just have to wait and see.

Depends on how bad he is hurt. I think he will be a big part of their offense & losing him would hurt them tremendously.

If Temple is gone for the year.... Their running game could very well be gone & they could try to go the route of ttu & just air it out.... but that wont fly... They don't have the personell to run that IMO... hell ttu probably doesn't have the personell this year...

they had a guy on last week here on Austin Radio and I thought they had a really good freshman rb.
