I use to skateboard too but nobody did any of the crazy stuff like they doing now. Even the old skatepark in Cali where I grew up has these crazy ramps and drops that weren't there when I was growing up. If anybody ever built anything it ws just a halfpipe that would be tame by today's standards or we just went to a pool or found some stairs.

We were watching that live at work when it happened because pretty much everyone I work with skated when they were kids. When he first falls he didn't move and I actually thought that dude was dead. Even when he was in the air one of us went, "Uh, yeah that guys toast" and the BAM! No movement.

He did a good job landing though I thought after watching it a few times. He tried to land on his knees which is what your'e suppose to do and I think that's why he was kicking so much. He had sense not to land straight on his feet which would have broken more bones and may have been much worse.

Those dang kids these days are crazy! :cool:
