Anyone see this about TCU, Auburn University, & Ohio University????
It says they...
steered athletes and other students to education lenders in exchange for kickbacks.

because it involves "other students" and not exclusively athletes...I see this as not getting them in trouble with the NCAA...
(I may be wrong though)...

but if the athletic department was doing it also, or the kickback went only to the athletic department, then it's possible for something to happen with the NCAA. We just need more information.

yeah, I thought of that...if the Athletic dept was including "other students" to help cover it up...I can see where that'd get them in trouble...
but from the surface, it sounds like someone in the administrative offices were getting a little "bonus" for special referrals...
and the schools involved...isn't that kind of random??? TCU, Auburn, & Ohio...
different conferences, different geographic areas, different enrollment sizes...same scheme? sounds odd...

If nationwide, then that means crossing state lines, which could very quickly mean the Feds get involved.
