after a long hiatus we are finally back.... this week was a full house with our friends from Websider Hop and Dallas coming over to talk recruiting and football predictions for the fall. Also touched on basketball and baseball.

Want to mention, this is one of the best podcasts we've done to date. Also used a new recording method which makes for better quality.

oh yeah... forgot to mention. the new guys didnt quite realize how sensitive the mics were (im sure they will be after this) so there was alot of background noise (also partially because we had 7 people online for this one). But there is alot of coughing in this one.

The coughing is because Dallas from Websider.com actually got sick or caught something from a hotel he recently stayed in while covering a Big XII event.

I think they'll only get better once we get a recognition for each other's voices. It was a little obvious that we really didn't have a feel for each other, but that will change after a couple of more.

I think we need to get an order so we don't talk over each other near as much--go alphabetical if nothing else, but get some kind of order to our responses. I really like Vly facilitating, I just think we need a lil more organization.

One thing I would change is less people from Aggiefans. Too many people trying to talk. 2-3 from aggiefans and the guys from websider would lead to a cleaner conversation

You guys did a fantastic job, I absolutely love this stuff. You are right about the mic sensitivity but that comes with the territory. I've learned my lesson a few times. I know how much work it takes to do a Podcast. Just getting everyone set up, encoding and tweaking. I truly appreciate it. This Podcast is taking it to the next level for sure. Great insight and information for Aggie fans everywhere. Specially those of us who have little time and want to get good information. The Podcast sounded great on my iPhone as I drove home from work with a quick stop off at the HEB for diapers.

You guys have come a long way from the beginning of last year. If you don't believe me just go back an listen. I really enjoyed this kickoff. Your Podcast are what got me hooked on Aggiefans.com. Great community and great folks running it. There is nothing like Aggies and nothing like kickoff day at Kyle Field. I might not be the most active member of this community but you (the staff) and everyone else always make it feel like home.

we're trying to record it this thursday, which means it may be available as early as Friday. Waiting on the Websider guys to see if they're available. If not, maybe we'll move on without them and do a strictly preview type show.

We just got done recording the new one. The websider guys were absent so it turned more into a shooting the breeze talking Big XII and aggie football schedule....

Looks like you can right click on the title of the mp3 box and it gives you the option to saveas
