It's easy to just pencil in guys like Jennings and Giordano, but the Colts seem very high on guys like Antonio Perkins and fourth rounder Brannon Condren. They're also very high on Texas A & M DB Melvin Bullitt. Polian compared him to Antoine Bethea, saying he impressed coaches at mini-camp the way Bethea did last season. High praise indeed.

Polian, in his 10th season as the Colts' President, spoke with the media on Monday following the first practice of Colts 2007 Training Camp, and although he said he and Colts Head Coach Tony Dungy aren’t close to evaluating rookies yet, there were good signs early.

I hope he makes the team..... He busted his arse off at A&M to crack the line up his Junior & Senior year & I am sure he's putting an even bigger effort (if that's possible) to make the Colts team.....

I was glad to hear he's preping his lil brother or cousin for what to expect at the College & Pro level.....

I envy you... MB was one of my favorite Ags on the team last year & the Cowboys are my Favorite NFL team & always will be...

it varies from day to day. after the game we all thought he did well, but coaches werent so positive. like i said earlier he leads the stat board in practice so who knows- i said the coaches arent givin you what you want to hear to push you harder etc.

they have 7 safeties workin out if they take 5 active he just needs to beat out the guys from LSU & USC. somedays its 4- somedays its 5... just gotta wait it out

& if he is cut- theres still a chance of another team pickin him up which is a positive aspect

& he knows what hes going to do if all this doesnt work out this season, so everything will work out. just gotta find a way to be patient until Sept 1---- which is way easier said than done

The Colts are deep and experienced at receiver, defensive end and in the secondary, which means all three must prove they're versatile and valuable enough to keep on the 53-man roster. In Bullitt's case, that likely means beating out at least one of the incumbents -- 10 of whom were drafted -- in the secondary.

I hope he makes the team.... I hope both make their teams & both get on the field during the regular season & have careers comparable to Ty Warren's right now....

Not much was said about Warren despite going in the 1st Round & many people forget to talk about him when talking about the Pats due to all the stars on that team....

But I hope Reggie & Melvin both stay with their teams as long as Ty has & get recognized by their teams via contracts like Ty has....
