discovery channel... it's about the USS Indianapolis sinking in the phillipine ocean... 900 went into the water and only ~300 survived all of the sharks.

Never. It only comes on once never to be seen again. Kind of like that movie in The Ring, except without the death.

(just kidding I'm sure it will be replayed over and over again during Shark Week.)

I was not going to watch this. Thought it would be too depressing to see more detail of this great lost of American life. But I am watching it now.

I have seen a couple of documentaries about this. Thought they did a great job. Can't imagine being in the ocean for 5 nights while hundreds of sharks swim around you and pick off the person floating right next to you.
