somebody already brought this up. most ppl dont really think his calls changed the game much.

Didn't change the game much? He put Amare on the bench most of the second half.

did you see how refs changed game 4 before the fight? thats why horry was so frustrated. the refs took the spurs out of the game. spurs had like no shots in the last few minutes cause the refs kept calling phantom travels, screens, etc. sure, homeboys werent betting refs (or maybe they were), but I mean we could do this all day for just about every game.

what was the spread in that game? I don't believe Donaghy (and possibly others) are dumb enough to make lopsided calls when they're covering the spread (which was probably around -3 Spurs)

1) to single out this Chip is dumb.... He's been a ref for a while in the NBA & this issue that the FBI is investigating, goes back years.....
2) He's working with the FBI & could possibly leak more names (Which would put an asterisk next to far more games than just this years playoffs)...
3) Lets not forget that this could very well put an asterisk next to a Lakers Chip.... That .04 shot that was made against the Spurs is easily BS & that could be looked at as the refs deciding a game & series....
4) Anyone think he had nothing to do with Mavs/Heat series last year????

easily bs? The rules state that was possible. The ball was away before. You might fault the clock operator but not the refs on that one. And the Spurs don't have phantom screen calls they just don't usually get called when they should.

Right..... Refs have counted & not counted shots because of clock operators before....
Celtics/Lakers anyone.... :wow:
And speaking of phantom calls... you gotta love how Duncan was kicked out of a game for LAUGHING.....

DAMNIT Pum! You stole my thunder. That call by a ref with a personal vendetta, lost the spurs that game and most likely the second seed in the west. Could that have altered the spurs-suns series completely in the spurs favor? My point is, refs decide games quite often, whether they make bad calls in spite, because they have money riding on it, or just because they are idiots. However, I don't think the suns got an "unfair shake" because of this game or because of homeboy.
