That's like the final nail on the coffin. I wasen't in the best mood today. I woke up and somebody took a knife and cut one of the my rear windows on my jeep.

No, not a thing.... I had a CD case with about 200 CDs in it but it was under the rear seat so they didn't take it. I have a fairly good sound system but it's hidden.... (stock speakers are all replaced plus I have a hidden subwoofer and amp in the console. But I'm using the stock radio so you can't tell I have all that stuff)

I don't know if they even got into my jeep. My center console was open and a pair of sunglasses was laying on my seat but I don't remember if I did that last night. (I got home around 2:30 in the morning) I really, really wish they did and just not found anything (it was empty) then have someone who may have been pissed at me for some reason..... Although I don't know anyone who would even do that.

It sucks ass. And I have an extra soft top from my last jeep that I was going to sell on ebay for about 700 bucks but it looks like I may be using one of the windows from that one instead until I buy a new one. They are $300.00 bucks and due to my San Diego/Surfing trip next week plus my Aggie Ring which I seem to have lost and need a new one I'm standing down on that for awhile.

It really is. All I know in CS this summer is my now ex-gf and friends that were more hers than mine... so, I'm SOL every weekend untill the fall semester.... :undecided

Wow, that really does suck...... I loved the Summer Sessions in college station. It's so laid back for months and then Bam: Football Season!

I'm almost in the same situation but it's self-placed.... I convinced three other guys to move to Austin with me and it's great but we have only been here a little over a month and only know each other. Not a bad thing since were all good buddies but there are times like tonight when they are all in San Antonio for various reasons (working for other people)

So sometimes it gets slow for me. I could have went out in San Antonio with a bunch of people but screw it. I moved to Austin and am sticking with it.

I'm going to take a leap of faith and go to Emos and catch the 12:00 and 1:00 sets. Maybe I'll find my next favorite band! :gig: One of the bright sides of living in Austin..... Bands every night.

My band used to play at The Steamboat (which closed) and The Vibe. The Vibe has a cool stage, but Emo's is where you go for the best music (and Stubb's)

Right around the corner from Emo's. I'm not sure of the street name...but walk away from Stubb's and with Emo's on your left, you'll take a right. The Vibe is about 30 yards down on your right. It's got a bright yellow wall.

The Vibe.... I know that place now. They have the High Times day party every SXSW. I have some friends that never miss that. I, of course, am a public servent (with random drug tests) so I can't do stuff like going to the High Times Parties.
