Client Service Manager
An outsourcing client manager leads defined benefit outsourcing client engagements from implementation through
live production. Once in production, the client manager maintains Mercer's relationship with defined benefit
outsourcing clients. Qualifications include: BA/BS degree; MBA degree preferred Minimum of ten years' experience
in benefit administration with a heavy emphasis on defined benefit plan administration , minimum of ten years'
experience in people management; prior matrix management experience is preferred , minimum of five years'
experience in project management, familiarity with the Microsoft Office Suite and MS Project preferred. Travel 10%
to 30%.
Team Leader
A defined benefit team leader is responsible for the day-to-day management and development of a client
outsourcing team of client services administrators and client services analysts. To fulfill that role, the team leader
will: Direct the team to handle plan or client specific questions. Serve as a subject matter expert on the client's
Plans and administrative procedures. Maintain extensive contact with clients and other Mercer consultants.
Participate in client presentations to promote the Outsourcing Service Center. Develop performance standards for
team members and perform semiannual reviews as required; BA/BS degree and three or more years' experience in
defined benefit plan administration; Excellent problem solving and analytical skills; Strong supervisory and
leadership skills.
Health and Benefits Administration
Client Services Manager
A Client Services Manager serves as the leadership of the client engagements. As part of the Client Services Team
the incumbent will be knowledgeable in technical and functional aspects of project management, scheduling and
staffing. The Client Services Manager is responsible for the successful delivery of the services provided to the client.
The Client Services Manager will provide leadership in development of new business, from both existing and new
client relationships within the target market in all disciplines served by Mercer, initiate action at a high level to
ensure the HR strategy is aligned with the business strategy of the client, identify synergies among various
specialties and ensure that they are communicated and leveraged across the entire firm, ensure that Mercer's total
service/product offerings are leveraged for clients and adding value and generate revenue through acquisition of
new clients, cross selling to current clients and extension of current client engagements to new activities. BA/BS
degree required; five plus years' experience in project management identifying, designing, recommending and
implementing efficient, innovative business solutions to clients' complex human resource challenges and previous
experience with Benefit Outsourcing a plus.

Implementation Sr. Analyst
An Implementation Specialist is responsible for assisting on new client implementations, ongoing support of existing
clients and providing guidance to implementation consulting analysts. This includes documenting system
requirements, using software tools and programs to setup system, interfacing with developers to clarify additional
system requirements, and performing functional system testing. Strong client and project management skills
required, as well as a comfort level in dealing with data and some programming work. BA/BS degree and three or
more years' experience in Health and Benefits or Defined Benefit administration; excellent problem solving and
analytical skills; Strong supervisory and leadership skills.

An Implementation Manager manages the successful implementation and ongoing support of benefits administration
systems for clients. This includes directing the technical implementation team for outsourcing and/or co-sourcing
cases and the development of implementation plans, budgets, and work schedules, and management of scope and
staffing needs. The role requires a strong background in HR/Benefits Outsourcing, specifically with significant people
and implementation project management experience. BA/BS degree required; five plus years' experience in project
management identifying, designing, recommending and implementing efficient, innovative business solutions to
clients' complex human resource challenges and previous experience with Benefit Outsourcing a plus.
