If you haven't read the book -- read it. It's filming right now...

And Tom Hanks is Robert Langdon!?! Not sure I pictured him in that role...but he's a good actor....

You can make swiss cheese out of those theories, it's a good piece of fiction and a great story if you haven't read it, but some people who have the same last names and such the author contects as related and other wide leaps of coincidence.

Yeah, it's fiction. Any one who takes it for fact obviously hasn't done any kind of research.

It's crazy how the Catholic Church is in such an uproar over a work of fiction.

By the way here is the emotional and gut-wrenching trailer.

Well I'm catholic, and I read the book, I recognized it as fiction and was not at all offended by the book. I thought it was a good read, and Brown did a good job of meshing in all the clues. In all honesty, I thought the ending seemed a little rushed, like Brown had spend a long time developing the plot, the clues, etc. then sort of rushed the ending. I think Hanks is a superb actor and he will do a good job as Langdon, I will watch the movie.

Every Catholic i knowing says it's good fiction, he's good at spinning circumstance or the rearely recognized myths about people. I'd watch the movie though.

The non-denomination people (especially 3 certain women) took the book as mostly fact and have cited this book as a basis for their opinions in a disscussion. I think that's what the church is saying, as a historical fiction it's great, but don't think, much of it is real. :)
