Aggie Odds in Vegas

My buddy is in Vegas and he called me to give me the "Future" bets for the NCAA National Champion (prediction). Michigan 18-5; Florida 6-1; West Virginia 7-1; LSU 10-1;Texas 10-1; Oklahoma 15-1, A&M 100-1. Comments?:popcorn:

I personally feel the Ag's can make a run (if they win the Big 12). I feel a number like 9-1 is more accurate.:gig:

I would say myself we are about 20-1 with our schedule we have to play. If we had last years Schedule I would say we would be a 10-1 or 15-1 to win it but we should not be above 35-1. This is the best team we have had since the 98 Big12 Champs team but we play a very tough Schedule.

College Football today is not fair. When was the last time a team who started the season ranked in the 20-25 range played in the MNC game? Even if we do go undefeated(something we haven't done in a very long time), the odds that we would get "Auburned" with 2 other undefeateds from BCS conferences is high.

I still don't see someone going undefeated (given the BCS calculation the way it is now...not taking into account SOS) in one of the major conferences (B12, SEC, Pac10, ACC, etc)...and not getting a shot.

If USC (preseason #1) and Michigan (preseason #2) both go undefeated, what makes you think an undefeated A&M would get a shot at the title? Only 2 teams get a shot at the title. If 3 or more BCS teams go undefeated, someone gets left out. Considering that we won't be top 10 to start the season, I can't see any scenario where we end up #1 or #2, unless everyone loses at least 1 game.

my point is given the parity within the respective divisions...I don't see THAT MANY teams going undefeated...just an opinion...

I realize the deficiencies in the BCS system...and there's no way to fix that w/o a playoff...but even with a +1 game, you're not ensured A&M could be in the NC game going undefeated...

suppose 4 or more teams go undefeated? suppose the champions from each conference go undefeated? I'm not going to debate hypotheticals with you...just saying, the chances of what you mentioned are not likely...

also 2004 was an abberation (fluke)...and as long as there is the bcs, we'll have this entertaining pre-season and post-season discussion...

this is just going off of the one's SPECIFICALLY mentioning the word "Fran"...
this does not count "coach", "little debbie", or any of the other terms used (endearingly) by gravy for OUR Coach.

All this time, I had been growing proud of my (although sorely misplaced) newly acquired title as official Grand Puba of the Franburgler. I had single handedly changed my attitude from being all Franacalafragilsticexpealidocious to feelig Franboozled, only to find that it is a grand whopping total of less than 200 posts????? Depending on the AP and Coach's pre season poll; has anyone won the NC after being ranked 23 or not at all? I think 100-1 is just a sucker bet. I say we finish in the top this year.
