Saw'em Off????

This may be way old, and if so, delete immediately, but I went to Walmart yesterday and saw a lady (stretch) wearing a shirt that said "saw"em off" and a picture of Revielle with his paws/legs sawed off!!:bs:really pissed me off.

I've seen a couple of those around. Not nearly as clever or nice looking as the REAL saw 'em off.

To give you the background, Shag. The sips sued Aggieland Outfitters over the t.u. saw'em off logo. In response to that, A&M sued some sip store over those shirts you are describing above. So they have been in the news over the last few months.

[RUMOR]On that topic, I haven't heard anything about the saw'em off lawsuit in quite some time. However, I did hear from very reliable source, that there is a reason why The University hasn't done more to help support Aggieland Outfitters. The owner of AO is a foreigner, & evidently, he sells a lot of unlicensed A&M merchandise in his stores. Obviously, the Nike stuff is all legit (there really isn't a way to get around that), but all the t-shirts he sells he has made over seas & imported in, without ever paying The University their royalties. In his words, "If this guy would've treated A&M right, this lawsuit would've been dropped long ago with the support of The University." Again, this is 2nd hand information, & I'm not certain that this is true....however, I had enough faith in what I was told to quit shopping there.
