If your daughter enjoyed basketball so much that any game regardless of team was on she got excited.... if she loved basketball so much that at the age of 4 years old she just had to have a Dora The Explorer basketball hoop put on her bed room door with one of those plush basketballs.....

Would you take your little girl to WNBA games?

My daughter isn't all that familiar with the WNBA... she knows who Acie Law, Joseph Jones, Tim Duncan, & Tony Parker are... she knows what Reed Arena & the AT&T Center are...

But she doesn't know anything about the WNBA....

The WNBA tickets are like $8 a seat.... while NBA games during the season were $50 & $60... so taking her would be a lot easier.....

This isn't something she's asked for, but something I am contemplating doing for her....

Any thoughts? WOuld you take your lil girl to watch the WNBA....

Granted, I can't stand WNBA games.... but for her I think I might put up with it since she loves Basketball so much....

Why not take her to a college game or an NBA-D league game in Austin? Much cheaper than the NBA, but a lot better to watch.

I would take my daughter in that situation

Without thinking twice. The WNBA consists of the best womens basketball players in the world. they play team ball, defense and theres no "flashiness" (sp) to the game like the NBA

Take her!

Not wanting to drive all the way to Austin when I live right off of Lackland... especially for a D League game...

Yeah I think I will.... She just loves the games so much.... Granted when any game is on TV.... Aggie or NBA, she falls asleep but to the few NBA games we have been to she has had a blast & plus the seats would be closer to the court....

Yeah I think I will... :gig:

it doesn't matter about our perceptions of the WNBA...what matters (like curly said) is that she'll (hopefully) has fun...

however, one thing you might want to consider...w/ the lack of fans/support, you don't want THAT to discourage her...

enjoy every second w/ your little girl...that's what matters.
she'll remember the time she spent w/ you more than the amazon women...and her time w/ you will pay dividends later in life...

Yeah that was the main reason behind it.....

I know she'll have fun... But at 4 I don't think she would care about the other people at the Arena....

If she were 6, 7 or 8.. then I would worry about that...

Yall have disgraced the El Camino by trying to make a great classic car that is respected by car buffs as a "laborer" car

The types of hispanics yall are making references too like Monte Carlos

El Caminos are on another level

I met Punch.... he shouldn't be brought into this convo

Given the information I would say take your daughter to the WNBA game.

I would take her to college games. WNBA games are full of gays/lesbians, and that is something I'd rather not expose a young girl to.

I think the real question that needs to be answered is how do you pronounce "pumchavas"?

I know that was something a few of us discussed at the last Aggiefans.com tailgate.

The first few times I looked at his screen name I thought it was Punchavas

Punch is cooler to me than any other nickname I could make up off his screen name anyways
