He brings up some good points. Also, the only "it's not a rivalry" arguments are based on overall record, while the VAST majority of rivalries are lopsided.

Ohio State-Michigan (Michigan leads 57-40-6)
Iowa-Iowa State (Iowa leads 36-18)
USC-UCLA (USC leads 41-28-7)
Texas-Arkansas (Texas leads 55-21)
Texas-Oklahoma (Texas leads 57-39-5)
Oklahoma-Oklahoma State (OU leads 77-17-7)
Nebraska-Colorado (NU leads 46-17-2)
Colorado-Colorado State (CU leads 57-20-2)
Notre Dame-Navy (ND leads 70-9-1)
Washington-Washington State (Washington leads 64-29-6)
Georgia-Georgia Tech (UGA leads 58-38-5)
Michigan-Michigan State (Michigan leads 66-28-5)

The list goes on and on, but my point remains: almost every rivalry is lopsided in terms of overall record.
