anyone have some good places to stay in cabins or some houses for rent on the river? Also don't the new cooler rules only apply to within the new branfels city limits?

You can't float the Guad right now. It's only rafting and you are correct about the new rules they don't apply outside the city limits. Let me know when you are coming and I might be able to meet you somewhere. Depends on work and summer school though.

yah, only inside city limits. river is too high right now because of all the rain and the lake level. when it goes down, they just built some nice condos on the horseshow part of the river called Hideout at the Horseshoe. website is www.stayandfloat.com or something.
