Allen Patrick took over for an injured Adrian Peterson and performed just as well as he did. The OU o-line is sick, and their defense is stacked. Malcolm Kelly is one of the top WRs in the conference, also.

The only problem OU really has is at QB. Their choices are Joey Halzle (an experienced backup), or two highly-touted freshmen.

Last year on paper OU should have sucked. If Stoops can pull out a good season with last years team, they will never suck under stoops.

I think OU has a good shot to win the Big XII South. I think our game against them in Norman will have huge implications towards deciding the South winner.

Honestly, I think picking OU to with the South is the right call as of right now. Sure, they might not know how good their QB is going to be, but their defense will win them 10 games regardless of their QB plays.

They didn't know how good their QB was going to be last year, & they lost their starting RB for most of the season....that really hurt them. ;)
