I have really only watched the 2nd half (was watching the 'Stros for a while) but so far Howard Morrow & Arkeith Brown look very good. Brown has shut down Morrow when they were matched up against each other & Morrow has schooled the guy on the other side (even though his long TD got called back.) Have seen much of Javorski. Anyone see the 1st half?

Is there a website that will have the stats from the game? I didn't know it was tonight and I'm interested to see how they did.

Not sure, but I'm pretty confident that I should be able to find the stats on the Aggie recruits tomorrow. Also looks like Robbie Frost was injured but I don't know how seriously.

I turned it off after the first half b/c I was sick of watching a t-sip recruiting show. I got so f-ing tired of getting the life stories of every sip recruit every time they touched the ball. Arkeith makes a nice pick and Craig Way doesn't even mention that he will be an Aggie. Lane makes a nice run and gets a quick mention about going to A&M. That is bull****. I know Craig Way is the sip announcer, but he should not be calling that game to promote the sips. Was it really necessary to interview the North coach at halftime and only talk about how he was a t.u. alum and how much fun it is coaching all those future longhorns? And hornfans.com says there is no BOMC. Whatever.

P-ville, it was way different in the 2nd half.

Is this the game where Stoops pissed off a TX HS coach for forbidding his recruits to play in it. The coach said if he ever had a kid that was being recruited he would advise against going to OU.

Yes, Maryland I believe you are correct. Stoops forbid his recruits from playing in this game.
Dustin, what was different? Did they give the Ags some props? Since Craig Way knew that most people had already turned off their TV's, he figured he would mention the Aggies a few times.

They just weren't all over the t.u. players jocks. It was more of them just calling a football game instead of propping up the t.u. guys.

The name of the kid that was being helped off was Posey, a center that they said was going to A&M. Word is he is a walk on. We had one other walk on playing as well, an LB named Dumas.
As for Stoops, OU's kids have played in this game before, including Bomar who played last year. OU has denied that the kids were forbidden to play, although the three OU kids did opt out of the game. So, who knows.
As for the kids, Morrow looked great, Grimes looked good on the OL (although he wasn't going up against the best of the best), A. Brown had some good moments and it was fun to watch him and Morrow go one on one. Lane, IMHO, was a bit disappointing.
As for the sips pub parade, that seems to happen every year. With Way in the booth, that's gonna happen. And, the fact that Charles did look good, as did the WR going to Austin just made it that much more glaring.

Saw it for about a quarter. Kids in HS seem to be getting better and better every year.
