I like it because it takes away the medical redshirt and you also don't have to worry about burning a freshman's redshirt in Game 8.

However, it doesn't explicitly say there'd be no redshirting. So, is it possible to have an athlete for 6 years?!

It would appear so, but I like the idea of 5 years of eligibility.
