Who should start for the Ags on Friday

Who should RC start for the Ags on Friday against Le Moyne? Its a tough call for me. Nicholson got very little work in the conference tourney and Friday is his normal day to start. However, do you really want to use your ace against a team like Le Moyne? I voted for Rivers based on the way he started against the sips. Let him start with Nicholson in the pen if needed. If Rivers can get it done, then you have Nicholson and Newmann for the weekend to get us to the Supers.

Rivers and Migel then Nicholson if needed as a closer

Meyer on Friday. Newman on Saturday. Rivers on Sunday. Nicholson out of the pen to close out the games.

Why Meyer? Why not. I know he has been ineffective lately, but against LeMoyne say we get 7 innings out of him. Now you have everyone available down the stretch.

Slot, I've gotta disagree with that. Meyer needs to stay in the pen. He is too much of a liability to start right now. Migl and Rivers are much better options to start, no matter who we are playing. Also, Nicholson is too damn good to be only in the pen. He needs to start Saturday against Ulala or tOSU unless we need him in relief on Friday.

Seeing the teams LeMoyne lost to early in the season I'm not worried at all. I say let Migl and Campfield tag team again.

There is no excuse for us not beating the crap out of Le Moyne on Friday. Nothing about them scares me. They played 8 games against the top 100 RPI this year and went 1-7. They played ZERO top 25 teams and went 0-5 against the top 75. Their only win against the top 100 was against #95 Southeastern Louisiana. The only reason they are in the tournament is b/c they won their crappy conference. I know its baseball and anyone can win on any given day, but this one better not be close.

Start Rivers then! If there is anyway to lose to Le Moyne, it would be by starting Jason Meyer! I would be okay with Migl too! Hell, start Renfro for all I care. Just don't waste Nicholson or Newmann & don't let Meyer pitch for us ever again!
