Do yall really think we can get to the CWS?
we have a good team but not a great one. we seem to be just a player or two short of being great. this team is special dont get me wrong but can we beat the great teams in the regional and super regional?

I dont see why you wouldn't think its a great team. Most teams have one real ace. We have two.
We have a girl thats already signed to play pro-softball. And then you have Amanda, Megan and Jamie that can hit really well on top of that.
This is a great team in my opinion. how far? As far as Amanda and Megan can take them.
I would say either all the way or a game or two away

To be honest, I dont like our chances. Far to many errors and we cant finish off games. I hope like any other aggie or aggie fan that we go all the way. But I wouldn't put any money on our guys to go very far

I say we got a 80 % chance to get to the CWS. We should win our regional and if Rice wins theirs we should have no problem beating them to get to the CWS, since we beat them twice this year.

The postseason is a whole different animal from the regular season - in 2005, Baylor swept Texas and beat them in the Big 12 Tournament, but Texas won twice in Omaha. Plus Rice is actually healthy now, and we didn't beat them when they had St. Clair.

getting past the regional shouldn't be horribly difficult but we will probably have to play rice to get to the cws.

i guarantee you it's going to come down to errors. it's no coincidence that we had zero errors vs K-State, Texas and Baylor and won all 3, yet had errors vs Nebraska and lost.
If we play well and don't commit any errors, we can play with anybody.

That player that we are short just happens to be Jordan Chambliss! I would feel pretty confident about our chances if he were healthy! Without him, I think its going to be extremely difficult. We should advance from the Regional, but with our lack of pitching depth, nothing is guaranteed.
And as far as Rice goes, they are playing their best baseball right now! We aren't!

Honestly, I hope I'm wrong, but I don't think that we get past Rice. They are a very good team. I know we are 2-0 against them this year, but that means nothing. Just b/c we beat them in "meaningless" games does not mean that we can go to their house and beat them. Sure, we have a great shot at taking a series from them, but I'm not betting on it. I do like that our Super will be in Houston though b/c it will take away some of their home field advantage.
Also, I'm not 100% sure that Rice gets out of the first round. They have a tough draw with TCU and Baylor. Who knows, maybe we'll be hosting the Super against TCU.

We can go to Omaha. We can also go 2 and 'cue at home as well. That is why they play the games. Frankly, I think we will meet Rice and it will be exciting.

we have an awesome team. I see a semifinal at the VERY least for us!

I have been to about a dozen games this year! We do not have an awesome team! We have two stellar pitchers, about 3 decent hitters, lots of speed, a horrible bullpen, & even worse fielding! However, these guys know how to win! I don't think we make the CWS, but I'm just glad to be back in the post season!

The fielding looked pretty good the last couple of games I watched. The playfoos aren't about how good you were through out the season. They're about how good you are NOW!

The thing that has helped the fielding the most is moving Stouffer to 1st & inserting Ruggiano at 3rd! That has helped cut down on the errors, but it doesn't make us a good fielding team! You can't chalk up the fielding problems solved after two good fielding games!

Sure, we played good our last three games, and coincidentally, we didn't make an error. We made 5 errors in the first two games against the sips, both leading to unearned runs that lost us the games.
