Ulala is good but what about Ohio St.
Rice doesn't have it that hard yes TCU and Baylor are good but they should have no problem against them but what about tu why not just give them a bye with that schedule in the regional

We got screwed out of a top 8 seed.

I'm not worried about it. If we advance, we have beaten Rice twice this season already. And we have beaten them in their own regional.

No we didn't. We didn't deserve one. A top 8 seed would at least take one game from a 3 game series against another top 8 seed.

On the other hand, I think the committee rewarded us with a fairly easy regional since we would have to face 2 seed Rice in a Super.

How did they reward us once we beat Le Moyne then we will play either Ohio St. or Ulala. Ulala should have gotten there own regional they are good, not saying that we won't win but it won't be a cake walk. Then we have to play Rice in the Super how is that fair we already beat them twice they could of give us someone else. I'm not complaining about the regional or Super, I just don't believe the committee rewarded us.

Because our regional could have easily been MUCH harder. Sure, Ulala will be tough, but TCU would have been tougher. As for playing Rice, would have rather have the Ags travel out of state to play a team that would have a true home field advantage or go to Houston where half the stadium will be Ags?

I'm used to the sips getting an easy regional. No way that Rice's should be harder than the sips. Its all about the $$$. t.u. being in Omaha ups the TV ratings. Rice being there does not.

However, I'm not sold on t.u. making it there just yet. The lose a huge home field advantage by not being able to play their games on their crappy 1980's astroturf. If they advance from the first round at the Dell Diamond, the 2nd round will be in Corpus Christi. Not sure how many longhorns will be making that road trip.

Are they playing at Dell b/c they are remodeling their field? if so are they getting rid of the astroturf?
That stuff is horrible

They are giving that crappy stadium a huge facelift. The reasons for them not being able to play the regional there is b/c they have no pressbox, the umpires room is not available, and the capacity is less than 5000. As far as I know, they are keeping the crappy turf. The sips like it b/c it gives them a big home field advantage.

Thanks for the info

a big home field advantage is an understatement

Sips are installing field turf. However, I do believe that Garrido really wanted real grass.

Slot, where is that info coming from? From everything that I heard, they were sticking with the old style astroturf.

Lots of teams do. MLB teams that do are the Mets, Devil Rays, Blue Jays, and Twins.

all it talks about are the seats says nothing about the field being redone

Here is the site that I've seen. It talks about everything being done, but changes to the turf is not one of them...
