King James will be torn apart by every fan and media member until he wins a Championship. We're gonna hear all the same mess we heard about Payton Manning not being able to win the big one, or buckling under pressure. Its already somewhat started with Lebron... its gonna get far worse

Pretty high expectations for a 22 year old.... that being said he did the right thing twice and has been killed for it.

Jordan did the same thing (passing it off to the open man) but his guys hit their shots. so Jordan was praised for it

When you come into the league & get paid the way he was.... you have to meet expectations.....

Expectations have to be reasonable though. He's taken that team from nothing to the conference finals in what 3 or 4 years? And without anyones help

True.... but he's expected to make the big plays also.....
Case in point... he could have very easily done a fade away jumper last night.... a shot he can easily hit... instead of leaning into Rip.... instead he chose the later & now is suffering the consequence....

He did make the big plays. They just did not develop. In todays NBA that is a foul 99% of the time and by doing that with his strength he gave himself the opportunity for a 3 pt play. The play before he made the right play Marshall just missed. He can't control marshalls shot.

Punch:
Are you telling me there was no foul when he went to the hole?
yeah he coulda did a jumper, but there was nothing wrong with him going strong like that. he was fouled and it was VERY obvious

If you're called "the king," big things are expected. Happens like that. He's got to learn to live with it, or ditch the nick name.

I can understand all the expectations and so forth. He is called "the king" and he was and is supppose to be the greatest ever when hes all finished
I just think that its highly annoying for the media and fans to start in with this mess over one play, or his last two games. hes 22, and hes on a aweful team in a TERRIBLE eastern conference.
Give him a REAL #2 for a 1-2 pucnh or possibly a 1-2-3 punch like SA has, or PHX ....

I think it would happen to anybody. If they were blowouts, then the media wouldn't be on him. It's the fact that Cleveland failed to convert (now two times) at the end of the games.
If Duncan passed to Finley for a final shot down by 2, there might be questions being asked two. It's the media's job to stir up the pot, keep people interested and generally annoy the crap out of people.
